Big Play features a world-class Omniverse VR Arena, a multiplayer virtual reality experience unlike any other in Atlanta. This isn’t your typical VR in Atlanta – our arena uses 360° motion treadmills and full-body tracking to let you run, spin, and battle freely in the virtual realm. The result is full sensory immersion that makes you feel like you’re inside the game.

Step into the Omniverse VR Arena, a special platform where you can physically run, turn, and jump 360° inside the game world. Players wear special shoes and are secured into motion platforms that let you move freely in virtual space creating an immersive experience like no other in VR Atlanta.

FAQs – Everything You Need to Know!
What is the Omniverse VR Arena?
It’s our state-of-the-art multiplayer VR attraction that uses special omni-directional treadmills and VR headsets to let you move freely in a virtual world. Up to 4 players can play together in the arena. It’s an immersive VR experience you won’t find at ordinary arcades, essentially like stepping into a video game!
Is there an age or height limit for VR?
Our VR Arena is designed to be accessible to most ages. Generally, kids about 8 years and up can comfortably use the VR equipment (with parental supervision for minors). There’s no strict age cutoff – “kids and adults of all ages” enjoy our VR – but participants should be able to fit the VR harness and follow instructions. For the arcade, all ages are welcome. Very young children should have an adult helping them on games.
Do your arcade games give tickets? How does prize redemption work?
Yes! Many of our arcade games reward you with digital tickets on your play card (or physical tickets in some cases) when you play. You can redeem these tickets for prizes at our redemption counter. We have a huge selection of prizes, from small toys and candy to big items like electronics – similar to other big arcades that offer everything from novelties to game consoles for high scorers. Save up your tickets for something awesome or pick out a few fun items each visit. It’s up to you!
Can I host a birthday party or corporate event at Big Play?
Absolutely! We specialize in arcade and VR parties. We have party packages for birthdays (kids and adults), team-building events, corporate parties, youth groups, etc. You’ll get a reserved party area, game cards for guests, food options, and access to all our attractions. You can even organize VR competitions for your group. Just contact us to customize your event. Do I need to book in advance or can I just walk in?
For general arcade play and individual VR games, you can walk in anytime during our open hours – no reservation needed. If you have a large group or want to ensure VR Arena availability at a specific time, you might consider booking or calling ahead, especially on weekends. For parties, we do require booking in advance to reserve your space and time slot. Otherwise, come on in spontaneously and enjoy – walk-ins are always welcome at Big Play Atlanta!
