No reservation is needed for mini golf – walk-ins are always welcome. Just come during our open hours, grab your putter and glow-ball, and start playing. We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, but our 9-hole course moves quickly so wait times (if any) are very short. No hassle, no advance planning required​. (For large groups of 12+ wanting to play together, you can call ahead for optional accommodations, but it’s not mandatory.)

We offer affordable pricing per round. Exact prices will be posted at the center and on our website (they are comparable to other mini golf attractions in town). We have special rates for young children – toddlers or kids under a certain age are either free or a few dollars to play​, and we offer discounts for seniors and military as well. For example, at one Big Play location an 18-hole game is $8 for adults and $3 for kids 5 and under​; our Atlanta 9-hole pricing will be competitively priced (approximately half the 18-hole rate). We also frequently run promotions – like “second game 50% off” on weekdays or bundle deals with other attractions. All ages are welcome! There is no strict age limit – even little ones can play (with adult supervision). Our motto is that our attractions are “fun for all ages”​. We do ask that children under 12 be accompanied by an adult for safety. If you can hold a putter, you can play – we have child-size putters available for small kids, and you’re welcome to assist your toddler in putting. The course is family-friendly, and unlike some upscale mini golf bars, there’s no 21+ restriction in the daytime. In the evenings, our center remains all-ages until a certain hour (generally later in the night we might encourage 18+ if we host any adult-oriented events, but in general families can enjoy mini golf at any time). Check our age policy on the site for any updates, but currently everyone is invited to play whenever we’re open.

On average, a single round on our 9-hole course takes about 20 minutes for a group of 4. If you have a larger group or if it’s busy and you’re waiting on the group ahead at each hole, it might stretch to ~30 minutes. It’s a quick playtime that leaves you plenty of room to enjoy our other attractions or even play another round. Many guests opt to play a second round (trying to improve their score or settle a friendly rivalry!). Since we offer a discounted second round​, you can typically play 18 holes total (two rounds of 9) in well under an hour. Of course, if you prefer to take itslow, you’re welcome to enjoy the ambiance – there’s no rush. Conversely, a duo or solo player might finish the 9 holes in 10-15 minutes. It’s the perfect length for high-energy kids or a short activity, but also easy to repeat if you’re up for more.

Yes, our course is accessible. The entire mini golf layout is on one level with no stairs, and pathways are wide enough for standard wheelchairs and strollers. We want everyone to be able to enjoy mini golf. If anyone in your party has mobility needs, feel free to let our staff know and we’ll ensure they have a smooth experience. We also have seating nearby if someone needs a break while others play. Big Play Atlanta as a whole is ADA-compliant​, including restrooms and entrances. Accessibility is important to us – indoor fun should be for everyone.

Our blacklight mini golf area is generally dark with neon glow. We use ultraviolet lights to make the course shine; some areas are dimly lit and others have bright glowing art. If a child is very sensitive to low lighting or neon colors, you might walk them through first to get them comfortable. Most kids absolutely love the glow effect once they see it. We do not use any strobe or flashing effects in mini golf (avoiding potential triggers for those with epilepsy or sensory sensitivities). The music in the mini golf area is kept at a moderate volume – upbeat but not too loud. It’s much quieter than a loud arcade or bowling alley; you can have a conversation while playing. For anyone who is nervous in the dark, know that it’s a friendly atmosphere – think “cosmic bowling” style lighting, not total darkness. We’ve hosted many parties with toddlers and children with special needs who enjoyed the course. Absolutely! We offer birthday party packages that include mini golf play for all guests, plus use of our party room, food, and more (see the “Perfect for Birthday Parties” section above for details). Mini golf is one of our most popular party activities because it’s unique and fun for all ages. If you want a smaller get-together (not a full package), you can also bring a group during public hours and play mini golf, then grab food at our café – just be aware you won’t have a private room without a package. For any organized event with 10+ people, we recommend booking with us so we can reserve space and help host. Group discounts are available​ for large parties, and we can tailor the experience (for example, a mini golf tournament bracket for your team building event). We truly believe Big Play offers the best indoor mini golf experience in Atlanta.
